So, first of all, let me apologize for being inactive in my confessional. I have been at a work conference since the beginning of the game, and will be here until Wednesday. So in all honesty, it was a miracle that I made it to the challenge.
As far as I know, things have been pretty quiet around camp. Now, granted, my judgement is probably severely misguided at this point since I haven't been around too much. At the beginning of the game, Malcolm instantly suggested that we work together. He also said that he really likes Ian and thinks that we should get a foursome with him and either Silas or RC (whoever we like more) to control the votes. I, personally, thought Malcolm was coming on a bit strong. But, hell, if he wants to take the reigns and be the power player right now, then I'll let him have it. He just better watch his back in the future because it's All-Stars and I am ONLY looking out for myself this game. He can be the big bad leader over here on Escambia, and I'll take a back seat until I need to put a knife in his back. Malcolm also told me that he's been warned not to trust Heidi and that Jamie and Ian don't get along. Well, I obviously am well aware of Jamie and Ian's relationship (shout out to Ghandia). I am also well aware that Jamie is a narcissistic asshole in these games, and Ian is a bumbling buffoon who goes to the F4 with an alliance of 3 who have been working together since Day One. So, Malcolm's original plan was to target Jamie right off the bat.
Fortunately for us, Jamie is also the reason we lost the challenge. I mean, I know life gets in the way, but I'm working my ass off at a professional conference trying to get a damn job and I hopped online for an hour to help with this challenge. Sheesh. So, if all goes to plan, Jamie should be an easy first boot. The ONLY thing that truly concerns me is that I haven't been able to chat on AIM much with anyone. Therefore, I have no idea where anyone's head is at besides Malcolm's. I would like to think that they see that Jamie is useless and Ian spills all the beans about his performance in Gobi, but I can never be too sure. Unfortunately, that means that I don't feel safe at all this first vote. I think it could easily be me going home, but I'm going to fight my ass off to make sure it isn't.
