In season six, twenty castaways were stranded in the Pacific region of Mariana's Island. It started with two returning players coming back for redemption. Season eight started off with two tribes of nine. Nine returning favorites versus nine new players. The season was bombarded with twists including the Bomb Shelter and an option to mutiny. There were two clear groups but in the end, one group came out on top when they all made it to the final tribal council. After a very dramatic and controversial season, Courtney Marit was named the soul survivor.

Season nine began with nine pairs who came into the game together. They were put onto opposite tribes where they were forced to compete against each other. The drama began instantly. All of the big personalities clashed which caused for a very exciting pre-merge. But it was nothing compared to what came after the merge. Once the idols were flying around, people were scrambling during every single vote. The craziness continued right up until the end when Kim Spradlin was named the Soul Survivor.

Season ten began with seventeen "old school" players who instantly had to vote for their desired captains. Instantly, someone was exiled. The drama heated up right before the merge when one tribe was almost decimated. Once the merge hit, Hell froze over. Everyone began targeting everyone and it was a free-for-all. Dramatic is a huge understatement for the ending portion of this season. The tribe that almost got "Ulonged" ended up beating the odds and making it all the way to the end. After 39 days of complete chaos, Tanya was named the Soul Survivor.

Season eleven began with sixteen new contestants learning that they had to compete against four of the most notorious villains from seasons past. Instantly, two newbies were eliminated from the game. However the newbies were not scared of the "monsters" - voting out three of them before the tribe swap. After taking out some very strong players, new leaders emerged making for a very exciting end game. In the end, LJ beat out Mikayla and Sherea in a very dramatic Final Judgement and became the Sole Survivor.
